  • Rose Garden: The largest Rose garden in Asia, it is spread in over 30 acres of land in sector 16. Here one can see 50,000 rose-plants with as many as 1600 species.

  • Rock Garden: This magic garden is another attraction for travelers built by Nekchand, with multi-colored pieces of useless stones and other throwaway.

  • Sukhna Lake: This 3-square-kilometres rain fed lake created in 1958 by damming the Sukhna Choe, is a seasonal stream coming down from the Shivalik Hills. Serious ‘walkers' pursue an exercise regime and families enjoy an evening stroll. It attracts migratory birds from lands as far as Siberia and elsewhere.

  • Kullu Valley: This town has been a centre of faith for a very long time and is also renowned for its temples and the Dussehra festival that opens during the month of Dussehra every month.

  • Rohtang Pass: Situated about 50 kilometers from Manali town, at an altitude of 4,111 meters above sea level, This Pass which offers the only waypoint to the Lahaul Valley, is open from June to November every year. Situated a few kilometers away is the Sona-pani glacier and, it is a must visit for its snow capped beauty.

  • Dharamshala: Popularly known as the Scotland of India, stands on a spur of the Dhauladhar range amidst magnificent deodar and pine forests. It is the district headquarters of Kangra district and is also known as ‘The Little Lhasa in India’. It has everything for a perfect holiday and is full of life and peace. The headquarters of His Holiness the Dalai Lama are also located here.

  • Dalhousie: is a quiet town, with a sense of enchantment. This hill station spreads over five low-level hills at the western edge of the Dhauladhar range, just east of the Ravi River. The picturesque town is interspersed with the colonial-era buildings, low roofed stalls and hotels. The pine-covered slopes around it are intersected with paths and treks, which are ideal for short undemanding walks. The gateway to the Chamba Valley, this colonial town was established in 1854 by the British governor-general Lord Dalhousie.

  • Katra: A small town located around 50 kilometers from Jammu; it is the starting point for every pilgrim visiting the world famous shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi.

  • Vaishno Devi Shrine: Believed to be the oldest shrine in India, this holy shrine is situated on the holy Trikuta Hills in Shivalik Hill Ranges. The holy cave is 13 kilometers from the town of Katra, which is 50 kilometers away from Jammu and 35 kilometers from Udhampur. A visit to the temple requires the pilgrims to trek from Katra.

  • Amritsar: Amritsar is the Capital of Punjab and also a very important pilgrimage for Sikhs because of the Golden Temple. Jallianwala Bagh memorial is an important destination of the city, where hundreds of martyrs lost their lives in a shootout ordered by a British general.

  • Kurukshetra: This place is believed to be the birthplace of one of the greatest religions of the world, Hinduism. Legend has that it was here that Manu wrote down 'Manusmriti' and the learned 'Rishi-Munis' compiled the Rig Veda and Saam Veda. This is also the site of the epic battle of Mahabharata. It was graced with the visits of Lord Krishna, the Buddha and the Sikh gurus.
